IANA Numbering Service Level Agreement

On 15 January 2015, the Consolidated RIR IANA Stewardship Proposal (CRISP) Team submitted the Internet Number Community Proposal to the request for proposals issued by the IANA Stewardship Coordination Group (ICG). One of the key elements of the Internet Number Community proposal was to replace the NTIA-IANA agreement with a new contract, a Service Level Agreement (SLA), between the IANA Numbering Services Operator and the five RIRs.

SLA Development Archive

The SLA was developed by the five RIR communities as part of the IANA Stewardship Transition. To ensure transparency, each draft of the proposed SLA and any comments were recorded and made available to the public.
