NRO and ICANN Reaffirm Commitment to Relationship
The Number Resource Organization (NRO) and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) have reaffirmed their commitment to each other in an exchange of letters.
The NRO stated that it continued to view its relationship with ICANN as essential to the stability and interoperability of the Internet and its addressing system. ICANN stated that it sought to further enhance the relationship for the mutual benefit of both organisations and their respective communities.
Both organisations expressed their willingness to review the current agreement within one year. The letters can be viewed at:
